Here you can find a list of the upcoming events in which the TRANSMIT Consortium will be involved this month.
Abcam conference
TRANSMIT ESRs will attend the Abcam “Cancer and Metabolism” conference to be held at the Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge on June 25-27, 2018. Among the scientific organisers of the event is Dr. Christian Frezza from the University of Cambridge, Principal Investigator for the ESR 4 project.
TRANSMIT ESRs will present a collective poster during the dedicated session. This will be the first time that all together they will carry out an activity of scientific dissemination. Along with the poster, an exhibition stand will be also set up for the entire duration of the conference: ESRs will be called to give their scientific contribution to it. You can read the Abcam conference programme here.
TRANSMIT internal meeting
Just before the Abcam conference starts, a TRANSMIT internal meeting will take place on June 25 morning. The venue of the meeting will be the Reddaway Room, Fitzwilliam College, Storey’s Way, Cambridge CB3 0DG (UK). Both supervisors and ESRs will be present.
The meeting will give the Consortium members the opportunity to meet in person and discuss the milestones achieved thus far and to achieve in the upcoming months. During the meeting, both UNIBO Coordination Team and WP Leaders will give a presentation taking stock of the main points. The representative of the Assembly of the ESRs (AEs) will also inform all the Consortium members of the activities and/or the requests of the Consortium trainees.
You can consult the meeting agenda here.
